The Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program recently awarded a $1.5 million grant to Clark Atlanta University’s Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD), in conjunction with the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and Vancouver Prostate Centre, to develop state-of-the-art medicine for the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer, the deadliest form of the disease.
