Atlanta Serves Up another Shared Kitchen for Food Entrepreneurs
JPat Management, recently announced the grand opening of its newest venture, J’s Kitchen Culinary Incubator, LLC. The 21,000-square foot facility, located in Doraville, Ga., is comprised of three shared kitchens, a baker’s kitchen, a private master kitchen and a tasting room, all of which are equipped with top-of-the-line commercial equipment. Business amenities include spacious conference rooms and computer work stations from which members can run their operations.
Delta and Airbnb team up to invite travelers to fly global, live local
Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines and Airbnb, one of the world’s largest accommodations providers, are teaming up to offer SkyMiles Members an opportunity to earn miles on all Airbnb bookings worldwide when accommodations are reserved via www.delta.com/airbnb.
Delta is the largest U.S. global carrier to partner with Airbnb. Beyond the partnership, Airbnb has signed Delta as one of its preferred airline suppliers to transport its employees travelling on company business. Additionally, Delta has signed on to be the exclusive airline sponsor of the annual Airbnb Open event, held in Los Angeles, beginning on Nov. 17. As an event partner, Delta is providing exclusive airfare discounts for thousands of global attendees and hosting a branded lounge space.
Google Express to Roll across Georgia
Google is expanding the Google Express service to a large portion of the Northwest and Southeast, including across Georgia. The tech giant’s two-day, online delivery service will compete with Amazon Prime. Now, more than 70 million more people will have access to two-day delivery shopping at stores like Costco, Whole Foods Market, and more — right from their mobile phones or laptops. Nearly all Georgians have access to the service, including shoppers in Atlanta, Marietta, Savannah, Lawrenceville, Augusta, Alpharetta, Columbus, Decatur and Macon.
IHG Pioneers Hotel Virtual Reality Experience in China
IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), IHG has formed a robust partnership with the HTC Corporation (HTC) to bring new and exciting VR experiences to Guests in China. IHG guests in Beijing, Shanghai and Sanya will be able to try VR in a “Vive Zone”, which offers gaming, entertainment and interactions in a fully immersive digital generated environment. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy Vive line of VR content through Viveport application store for a fully digitalized entertainment moment in their own rooms.
