Soft drink giant Coca-Cola creates a unique encoded label to connect soda lovers and European music fans. Consumers in Romania can purchase limited edition Coca-Cola bottles with detachable music festival wristbands–by scanning the QR code and logging into Coca-Cola’s special app, customers can find out if they have won free tickets to several large music events this summer, including Chuj EDM Music Festival.

Passio Tech at International Parking Institute 2017

Mitch Skyer, president of Atlanta-based Passio Technologies, shared insights on leveraging next-generation tech to maximize the public transit experience, at the International Parking Institute 2017, a conference dedicated to innovation in public transportation and parking solutions. Skyer suggested that enhancing the journey to the destination with the latest apps would simplify and improve the user experience.

Digital Farmers Market Comes to Midtown

The Museum of Design Atlanta has partnered with Sourcify Farms, a delivery app bringing fresh farm-to-table food to city consumers; the Midtown museum serves as a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) pick-up location. Grocery shoppors can order fresh produce and fish online or via Sourcify’s mobile app.

Beverage Marketing Tech Finds Sweet Spot  

Sellr, an Atlanta-based digital marketing platform for beverages and other retailers, announced an upcoming expansion, the launch of its Partner program, during its next-gen marketing demo last week at Atlanta Tech Village.

During the celebration, attendees enjoyed Atlanta-themed cocktails made from Sellr’s database of more than 100,000 products. Demos included Mac’s Beer and Wine and Enomatic USA’s new cocktail machine.
