Craft Brewery Says Cheers to High-Tech Facility
Creature Comforts, a popular craft brewery based in Athens, Georgia, has announced expansion plans to include fully automated brewing at a computer-run facility. The brewery selected the historic Southern Mill complex (a textile mill currently converting to a mixed-use development) to house the second facility. Creature Comforts will deploy a new canning line that prevents oxidation of the canned craft brews. This follows a successful three years in business, and Tropicalia being named Georgia’s most popular craft beer, according to Eater Atlanta.
