Last Friday, Georgia Congressman Tom Graves (R-GA-14) introduced a bipartisan bill on Capitol Hill called the Active Cyber Defense Certainty Act (ACDC).
Once enacted into law, this would allow authorized individuals and companies to fight back against hackers by granting them legal access to networks to retrieve files and to leverage beacon technology, amongst other capabilities.
Roy Hadley, chair of the information security society for the Technology Association of Georgia, weigh in on the implications of the ACDC for the cyber industry.
