Bill Nuti, CEO of Atlanta-based NCR Corporation, discusses the future of Atlanta’s burgeoning reputation as the “Silicon Valley of the South.” Nuti highlights the importance of Georgia Tech’s location in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, and with the ongoing addition of NCR’s state-of-the-art 750,000 square foot headquarters on 8th and Spring streets, an expected influx and expansion of Georgia’s technology sector. Though many Georgia Tech graduates move to Silicon Valley in California for a job, Nuti believes that this new innovative headquarters will encourage GaTech students and other STEM students to meet, collaborate, grow, and keep the budding tech industry within Georgia.
