This years’ internationally televised CS:GO ELEAGUE Major boasted 60 million plus video streams across all platforms, which is more viewers than the NBA and MLB World Series finals. But should eSports really be considered a “sport”?
Daniel Kane, a doctoral student at the United States Sports Academy has written an interesting paper that builds on the concept that eSports should be considered a sport.
The paper appeared in The Sports Journal, a peer-reviewed journal of sports, published by the United States Sports Academy.
