WIBNA: Women in Business NA Summit Survival GuideLike(0)
Women are taking the helm of enterprises across the nation–one out of every 11 women in the united States is an entrepreneur. Women business owners contribute to the overall employment of 18 million workers and generate $2 to $3 trillion in revenue!
What common resources exist to educate and support enterprising women and founders? The Women in Business North America Summit seeks to develop that community across borders.
What does every attendee need to know?
Lisa Stockley, consul and trade commissioner at Consulate General of Canada in Atlanta, pens the ultimate survival guide to this year’s sell-out event, including registration, mentorship and how to get involved.
The Women in Business North America Summit launched for the first time in Atlanta in June 2016, and featured two full days of B2B meetings, panel sessions and a mentors’ lounge at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. More than 550 participants registered and attended the Summit. The 2017 Summit returns with the goal to educate and support women-owned businesses and women entrepreneurs, and develop a robust network that extends across North America! Proceeds from the Summit will be dedicated to a foundation/fund supporting women in communities across North America.
