Pindrop Phone-Fraud Protection Raises $75 Million

Pindrop, an Atlanta startup that protects phone-fraud, has raised $75 million in a Series C funding round headed by Google Capital.

In monetary terms, phone fraud in the U.S. averages to over $20 million annually, which leaves much opportunity in the industry. “Pindrop is taking a truly unique approach, helping its customers save millions of dollars by preventing voice fraud,” says Google Capital Partner Gene Frantz.
