We will be showcasing our Front End, Java and iOS graduates team-built applications and celebrating the culmination of their 12 weeks of training at The Iron Yard. Each graduate has invested 60-80 hours of work a week to hone their coding skills, and the sites and apps they are presenting on Demo Day are a remarkable display of the knowledge and craft they’ve gained.

Please join us for an afternoon of impressive presentations to an audience of local tech companies, potential employers, engineers, and supporters of the tech community. All are welcomed to attend!

Here’s what’s happening:
3-3:20pm Networking
3:30-4:30pm Opening remarks and presentations
4:30pm Project demos and networking

Lindsey Owings

Lindsey Owings, Campus Director at The Iron Yard, is a Mercer University Stetson School of Business grad. Her professional experience has taken her on a tour through higher education at the University of Georgia, a small benefits brokerage startup in Alpharetta, and then to Bain & Company where she began her career recruiting in 2008. She landed in Denver in 2012 where she recruited for DaVita Healthcare Partners Inc., a Fortune 300 healthcare company. Being closely tied to her family (i.e., her adorable nieces and nephews), Atlanta ultimately called her home where she discovered The Iron Yard and began her adventure in all things tech.
