Georgia Bill Allows HOPE to be More Obtainable For Science & Math Students

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Rep. Jan Jones, R-Milton, announced she is sponsoring a bill to reward college students the same half-point boost to their GPAs for participating in difficult college courses as they now earn for taking advanced classes in high school.

Due to the intensity of these college courses, it is understood that Science and Math students should be awarded with the scholarship for their rigorous efforts. Additionally, it’s working to push more students in the direction of STEM education due to shortage of workers in these areas.
