Georgia Department of Corrections Introduces G.O.A.L Devices to Inmates

The Georgia Department of Corrections has introduced G.O.A.L Devices, otherwise known as Georgia Offender Alternative Learning devices. These devices allow prisoners to interact with family members via video-chat, read handbooks, motivational books and access additional educational materials.

“The possibilities are endless in the way that people can use these to participate to, you know, carry on,” says Jennifer Irvin, Southeast Region Area Principal for the Georgia Department of Corrections.
