ATLANTA, GA — September 10th, 2015–Morehouse College is listed among the colleges participating in Comcast’s “Xfinity on Campus” streaming service for college and university students.
Morehouse College, along with Dartmouth, Loyola University, Yale, and many others are part of an expansion of the service, bringing the total number of schools involved in the program to 27, up from seven when the program was launched last year.
Xfinity on Campus” is offered to students living in on-campus housing. It’s included with the cost of their room and board, with the option to pay extra to upgrade to premium channels. Xfinity on Campus offers the ability to watch live and on-demand content, including 80 live channels, on smartphones, tablets and other Internet-connected devices.
Millennials are the largest generation in the U.S. and are watching more TV on computers, tablets and smartphones than ever before. At the same time, 106 million Americans watch TV online today and that number is expected to grow to 145 million by 2017.
