Director Business Development of Invest Atlanta to be Featured Speaker at TAG Celebrates 2015

Event to be held on Tuesday, September 29th at Opera in Midtown Atlanta

 ATLANTA, GA—September 22, 2015– The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) announced today that Dr. Eloisa Y. Klementich, CEcD, the Director of Business Development for Invest Atlanta, is the guest speaker for TAG Celebrates, an event honoring Georgia-based companies on this year’s INC 5000 list.

In her current role, Dr. Eloisa Klementich oversees Invest Atlanta’s business retention, business expansion efforts and entrepreneurship growth for the City of Atlanta. Prior to joining Invest Atlanta, Dr. Klementich was a Special Assistant for Economic Development in the US Economic Development Administration. At the EDA, she was detailed to the National Incident Command to work on the Federal response to the Gulf Oil Spill.

Additionally, she has worked in the Office of Economic Development in California under Governor Schwarzenegger, the Economic Development Agency at the County of San Bernardino, the Los Angeles Country Division of the League of California Cities, and the Mayor’s Office of International Trade under L.A. Mayor James. K. Hahn.

Dr. Klementich received her Bachelor’s Degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from el Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey and two Master’s Degrees in Urban Planning and Latin American Affairs from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2010, she received her Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of LaVerne. Lastly, she is a Certified Economic Developer which is a national recognition denoting a mastery of principal skills in economic development.

Currently, Eloisa serves on the Atlanta Workforce Development Board, Atlanta Technical College Board and Atlanta Emerging Markets as a board member.

Dr. Klementich will speak at TAG Celebrates on September 29, 2015 at Opera, 1150 B Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309 from 6 – 8 pm.
