ATLANTA, GA– March 28, 2016– In an effort to increase sales and optimize operations, Coke has tried both cameras and weight sensors in their coolers, but neither were a viable solution. Now the Fortune 500 company needs fresh and highly technical ideas to solve this billion dollar problem.

On April 15 – 17th at The Gathering Spot, Coca-Cola will be looking to Atlanta’s best hardware hackers to solve the pain-point of not knowing what is in stock in their consumer coolers.  Developers and engineers with an interest in hardware are urged to attend this weekend hackathon.

The event is free, the participants retain all of their IP, teams could win a contract from Coke to continue building their solution or run a test pilot, and cool prizes (like a 3D printer) are being lined up.
