ATLANTA (January 26, 2016) – The Technology Association of Georgia’s Cloud Society will host “Building, Deploying, Migrating and Maintaining Applications in the Cloud” on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm EST at the Newell-Rubbermaid building (3 Glenlake Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30328).
“Building, Deploying, Migrating and Maintaining Applications in the Cloud” will feature three speakers: Wade Laye, Senior Director of Automation, Architecture and R&D Engineering, and Tim Choate, Managing Director of Technology Software Development, both from FTI Consulting; and Kelly Looney, DevOps Consulting Manager at Skytap.
Throughout the evening, Tim Choate and Wade Laye will share their own experiences from migrating FTI’s software development and QA environments into the cloud. Additionally, Kelly Looney will discuss using DevOps to solve operational support challenges and how to augment your production using a custom cloud.
The event will touch on both developing new applications and optimizing legacy apps for the cloud. Additionally, the evening includes food, networking and the speakers program.
