Atlanta- (December 13, 2016) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced that the TAG Data Science & Analytics society recently held the event of the year for professionals in Data Science, BI, Analytics, Big Data, and related disciplines at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North in Sandy Springs. The awards presented to companies that have leveraged Data Science and Analytics in innovative ways in order to effect positive change in their organization.
“The face of Data Science and Analytics (DS/A) is continuously changing” says Bob Wright, TAG DS/A Society Co-Chair. “This year we had over thirty nominations representing a broad base of innovative companies in Georgia. Many of these organizations are combining internal and external data to predict potential outcomes and shift their strategy to drive new sources of revenue.” This year DS/A introduced the Innovation Seed Award.”
