Atlanta GA, January 21, 2015 – Cresa, North America’s leading tenant representation firm, represented Thompson Technologies in a lease for over 7,400 square feet of office space at 200 Galleria Parkway SE, Suite 1100, Atlanta, GA 30339. Bob Misdom, Principal with Cresa Atlanta, advised the company on its relocation from 114 Townpark Drive in Kennesaw, as well as its 2009 lease negotiations.
Thompson Technologies was founded in 1995 in Kennesaw by David Thompson and is a certified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). With 25 staff associates and over 200 consultants on assignment, the firm provides IT talent to clients across diverse industries on a contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire basis. Over 90% of the professionals deployed by Thompson Technologies are senior level associates with industry certifications.
“Since founding the firm, we have operated our business in Kennesaw,” said David Thompson, Founder and CEO of Thompson Technologies. “However, with Atlanta’s changing demographics, we needed to be closer to both our clients and IT talent.” He added, “With Cresa Atlanta’s help, we identified the 200 Galleria building as an opportunity to upgrade our image in a freshly renovated building, with outstanding amenities, such as a conference center and restaurants, as well as easy access to both I-285 and I-75.”
Bob Misdom explained, “The Galleria 200 building is under new ownership that recently completed an extensive renovation of the common areas with elevator modernization, updated restrooms, an internet café, and large meeting space.” He continued, “The new office for Thompson Technologies will be very visible from the newly enhanced lobby area and offers amazing views of the Atlanta skyline, which will assist in attracting new clients and employees.”
With a superior location in the heart of Cumberland Galleria, 200 Galleria Parkway is part of a 70-acre mixed-use complex with hotel, shopping and convention center. The Class-A, 20 story building with over 433,000 square feet was built in 1984 and first renovated in 1994, and again in 2014. Matt Spickard, with Transwestern, represented the owner, LSREF2 Oreo (Galleria) LLC.
