Two Tech Companies Among GA Corporations score 100 percent in First Corporate Equality Index

WASHINGTON D.C. – November 19, 2015–The Washington, D.C.-based Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization,recently released the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), an annual report assessing LGBT inclusion in major companies and law firms across the nation.

First Data, and NCR Corp., were the tech companies among the 13 Georgia-based businesses that scored 100. A total of 24 Georgia companies were assessed in the report:

  • First Data Corp. 100
  • The Home Depot Inc. 100
  • InterContinental Hotels Group Americas 100
  • Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP 100
  • King & Spalding LLP 100
  • NCR Corp. 100
  • Newell Rubbermaid Inc. 100
  • SunTrust Banks Inc. 100
  • Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP 100
  • Troutman Sanders LLP 100
  • Cox Enterprises Inc. 90
  • Delta Air Lines Inc. 90
  • United Parcel Service Inc. 90
  • Southern Co. 85
  • AFLAC Inc. 75
  • AGL Resources Inc. 70
  • Invesco Ltd. 65
