U.S. Commercial Service to Host FinTech Festival Open House and Recruitment Session in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA– September 13, 2016— The U.S. Commercial Service, in conjunction with its Georgia partners, will host a FinTech Festival information and recruitment session on September 19, 2016.

“This will be the inaugural year for the FinTech Festival, and we’re looking to form a business delegation that will travel to Singapore for this exciting event,” said Clint Brewer, Commercial Officer for the U.S. Commercial Service.  “By participating in the FinTech Festival, Georgia companies will have the opportunity to increase commercial sales and collaborate with some of the largest organizations in the ASEAN region.”

The open house provides interested businesses a comprehensive overview of the FinTech Festival and the U.S.-ASEAN Connect initiative. Attendees can also expect to receive complete details on logistics for planning their trip to Singapore.

Speaking on behalf of the U.S. Commercial Service and discussing the benefits of attending the FinTech Festival in November, will be Ms. Margaret Hanson-Muse, Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs for the ASEAN Region. Margaret’s extensive experience includes serving as the Commercial Officer in Cote d’Ivoire where she supported the bilateral program and the African Development Bank and West Africa regional programs before moving to New Delhi, managing operations, market research and the U.S. Asian-Environmental Partnership program.
