ATLANTA, GA– June 20– United Sciences, an ATDC Signature graduate company, said it entered into a partnership with Harman Middle East, a leading consumer electronics retailer and distributor in the Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States (former countries of the Soviet Union), and Africa.
Terms were not disclosed.
United Sciences’ technology allows for custom-made silicone headphones, makes its molds simultaneously on four MakerBot Replicator Mini 3D printers. That cuts down mold production time to 20 minutes, plus another 30 minutes to assemble. That’s compared with the four hours it now takes using an industrial 3D printer.
Headquartered in Dubai, Harman Middle East operates 14 of its own harmanhouse brand stores including a 16,000 square foot facility in Dubai Mall, the largest consumer electronics store in the Middle East, and three Samsung brand stores. Harman Middle East showcases state-of-the-art technologies and distributes high-quality, high-fidelity audio and electronic brands including JBL, Harman Kardon, Infinity, Samsung, AKG, Becker and MAFCO within the UAE through a strong and active dealer network.
United Sciences plans to launch its eFit 3D ear scanning platform within retail stores in the Middle East this year offering custom high end headphones and hearables including its eFit and Aware brands and others.
