ATLANTA, GA– May 18, 2017– According to a recent CNBC Upstart25 article, women entrepreneurs will be “THE” economic force to reckon with in 2017. The article cited robust ecosystems that were turning out enterprising female CEOs equipped with innovation, inspiration and information to succeed. This data has been especially well-received by organizers of the 2017 Women In Business North American Summit (Women In Biz NA), slated for October 3-4, 2017 in Atlanta.
Launched in June 2016, the inaugural Women In Biz NA featured two days of workshops, business-to-business meetings and networking sessions. Beyond the impactful sessions, forum attendees cited the Summit’s unique approach encouraging collaboration among female business owners and leaders throughout North America. More than 550 women attended the inaugural event.
For the 2017 event, a cadre of partners including Bank of America, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, BMW, Government of Canada, Moxie and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), are working to offer a more “results focused” platform for women business owners and leaders. Slated for October 2-4, 2017 in Atlanta, the event will focus on strengthening the acumen and building networks of women leaders and business owners that extend across North America. Participants will have access to workshops, business-to-business fair and senior level business mentors for brief, high-impact coaching sessions.
Registration opened on May 1, 2017 with a wide range of specialized registration tracks. Participants may choose to attend one or both days.
Beyond event attendance, Women In Biz NA organizers are also seeking to source many of the event needs, including catering, supplies and other services, from women-owned/led businesses.
