CyberQuest 2017 focuses on improving cyberwarfare




AUGUSTA, GA– June 29, 2017– CyberQuest 2017, hosted by the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon, wraps up on Friday, with about 165 soldiers participating each day over the 26-day event.

According to the Augusta Chronicle, the event is an effort to make the military more agile in the ever-changing world of cyberwarfare.

This year – the fort’s second Cyber Quest event – marked the first time the fort has assessed its electronic warfare capabilities.

Located just outside of Augusta, Fort Gordon, Georgia is home to the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and host to a multi-service community of Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and multinational forces. The facility has become a center for joint forces activities, training and operations.
