ATLANTA, GA– July 29, 2016– Atlanta energy data startup, Urjanet Inc. has reportedly raised $2 million.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the company plans to double its workforce over time. Urjanet, a Georgia Tech spinoff backed by retired Southern Co. CEO David Ratcliffe, has developed technology that is able to connect to and provide data from more than 4,000 utilities. The company provides large enterprises an automated data service to help lower energy costs, reduce carbon footprint and evaluate long-term energy investments.
