Savannah Police try ShotSpotter Technology

ShotSpotter Technology are censors that allow police officers to detect gunfire within the scope of a geographical area. They are placed in civilian areas to deliver information to the forces in the case of violence. The Savannah-Chatham police force is testing out the use of this new technology around the city. Although audible shots will be fired in these tests, they will not put civilians in danger.
