Student Entrepreneurs to Exhibit at Georgia Tech CREATE-X Startup Launch

CreateX Startup Launch

Fashion. Fintech. Music. Healthcare. Automotive. Virtual reality. Education. Journalism.

Georgia Tech’s students are leading the foray from research and development into entrepreneurship, finding ways to redefine how we use innovative products to live and enjoy our lives.

Started in 2014 by Professor Raghupathy Sivakumar at Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, CREATE-X is an entrepreneurial initiative that empowers undergraduates to learn business skills, invent their own prototypes, and launch their own startup companies. Since its inception a few years ago, Georgia Tech’s CREATE-X has yielded 81 startups from students across its six academic divisions and 26 majors, earning more than $2 million in investments in just three years. Now, the next batch of young gamechangers are ready to give everyone a glimpse into the future.

On August 30th at the Fabulous Fox Theatre Egyptian Ballroom, 27 groups will share these products and services with the world at Demo Day 2017.
