ALPHARETTA, GA– April 12, 2017— Design Disruptors, a new documentary from the forward-thinkers at InVision, will be screened at events in both Atlanta, GA, and Greenville, SC, hosted by Digital Scientists. The documentary highlights how digital and physical design solutions are impacting the future of big business. Candid interviews with industry leaders at companies like Facebook, Netflix, and Dropbox headline the film’s message of innovation.

The documentary was produced by InVision, the world’s leading workflow platform. It takes a close look at the relationship between design and “disruption,” the reimagining of an entire industry or sector. Companies featured in Design Disruptors have a combined net worth of over $1 trillion and include game changers like Zillow, Zappos, Salesforce, among others.

“Design is changing the face of business more than ever before,” explains Digital Scientists CEO, Bob Klein. “Designers are challenging decades-old expectations to create better, smarter experiences for consumers. It’s a really exciting time to be in design.” Digital Scientists builds proprietary platforms, apps, interfaces, and other technological solutions for companies such Hubbell Power Systems and Office Depot.

Design Disruptors will be screened separately at Digital Scientists’ locations in Atlanta and Greenville. In Greenville, the event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th from 5:00-8:00pm at 101 N. Main Street; the Atlanta screening is planned for Wednesday, May 24th at WeWork Tower Place in Buckhead. Before and after the film, guests are encouraged to mingle over cocktail hour with fellow designers and tech specialists. Those interested in attending either event should RSVP on Digital Scientists’ website.

“Like us, Invision believes in the power of design-driven projects,” explains Klein. “We both understand the immense power of good design. It’s something the visionaries featured in Design Disruptors talk about in-depth: the idea that design is literally changing how we all interact with the world around us.”

Digital Scientists has offices in Georgia and South Carolina to best serve its southeastern client base. The team at Digital Scientists leverages the latest technologies to build new digital platforms for companies large and small including mobile apps, e-commerce, IoT connectivity and more.
